Paul Callaghan from Kingscourt, County Cavan, Ireland, originally set out in life as an electrician and by night a drummer in a 'Pub rock Band' and  gave it all up to become a full time professional wedding photographer some 20 years ago.  He's now one of Ireland leading wedding photographers.

Renowned for creating wedding images with tremendous impact, Paul will explain in his 2009 PTO seminar how an understanding of the basic rules of composition is crucial to successful wedding image - making, and subsequently, how breaking these rules can also work effectively to create modern compositions with impact,  like so many other top wedding photographers. Paul recognizes that the key technique in his work is the ability to see subjects that others might miss, and to simplify images down to their basic elements for powerful graphic impact also exploring the use of shapes strong colours and the use of lighting to it's best effect.
