Simon John has been a wedding photographer for the past 26 years, and in that time has built a high end, low volume studio handling around 40 weddings a year and 150 portrait sittings. He has won many awards for his photography including 10 Kodak Gold awards, the overall winner of Face 2000 for which he received a limited edition gold plated Hassleblad camera. To add to this in 2004 he won the UK Wedding Photographer of the Year with an avant garde image of a groom with an umbrella.

Back in 2008 Simon was the chairman of the British professional photography awards judging panel, a highly privileged position indeed. He has served on the qualifications panel  for the past 11 years assessing photographers work all the way to Fellowship  Now aged 42 Simon is passionate about the art of social photography with a strong bias towards weddings. Later this year he will release his first book on the subject and will cover many of the aspects that make his style  sought after by couples looking for something different and exciting.
