Gerry Coe

Recently received a second Fellowship from the BIPP for a panel of images all done on an iPhone, the first time anyone anywhere has done this.

Although he hates to admit it, Gerry has been a professional photographer for 50 years, he has covered almost all types of photography, Portrait, Wedding, Commercial, Architecture, PR, etc.

At PTO 2015 Gerry will be demonstrating his style of “Pencil Portraits” (High Key) and simple one light or just natural light portraits. Along with this he will be showing the use of his iPhone for portraiture and how to make large Fine Art prints. He will show the use of various apps and there will be practical demos on manipulation and enhancement as well as how to make 72 inch panoramas. Plus loads more.

Gerry is a Fellow of the British Inst of Professional Photographers (BIPP), the Royal Photographic Society (RPS), the Master Photographers Assoc (MPA), and the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers (SWPP). He recently received a second Fellowship from the BIPP for a panel of images all done on an iPhone, the first time anyone anywhere has done this. He is also the first and only double winner of the “Peter Grugeon Award” for the best Fellowship panel of the year from the BIPP. (1999 and 2012) He has had many of his images accepted into the Royal Ulster Academy’s annual exhibition , and his work is held in many private collections throughout the world.
